One Stop Machines was born out of a simple but widespread problem we observed in the industry, people kept buying the wrong 3D printers.
But it wasn’t just about choosing the wrong model. Many buyers jumped in without fully understanding how 3D printing works, what it demands, and how it evolves over time. They had unrealistic expectations, overlooked their long-term needs, and were often unaware of the true cost of ownership, from material compatibility and maintenance, to post-processing equipment and downtime risks.
As a result, they ended up with machines that didn’t deliver the value they hoped for, leading to wasted investment, operational friction, and in many cases, a complete loss of faith in the potential of 3D printing.

Abhimanyu Chavan, a 3D printing marketer and founder of Manufactur3D Magazine, has worked with global brands like 3D Systems, Meltio, Markforged and more to spread awareness and adoption of 3D printing in India.
Sriram Renganathan, a metallurgist by training, has been directly involved in commissioning over 100 Desktop & Industrial 3D printers across India and has worked on advanced applications including India’s First 3D Printed House.
They’ve worked closely with manufacturers, service providers, and first-time buyers. They’ve seen what works, and more importantly, what doesn’t. And with One Stop Machines, they’ve built a platform that puts that knowledge in your hands.
